Is your storage business locally owned?
Yes. We are the original owners since building the facility in 1985. We live here on the Monterey Peninsula and take pride in serving our neighbors with quality, well priced storage services. More information about our business and storage facilities in Monterey can be found here.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open 7 days a week. Monday thru Saturday from 8am to 6pm, Sundays from 11am to 4pm. For your security, night or after hours access is not available.
Do you have any special rates at this time.
Yes. Every month we will run special promotions of certain sized units. Just call our office at (831) 372–2264 or for the current special.
What type of security do you offer?
Gate access is given via use of a keypad using your own passcode. All access is recorded in our computer and is recorded by various video cameras. We require positive photo ID for all new tenants. Do you raise rents every six months?
Unlike some national chain operations, we are locally owned and managed and do not do automatic periodic rent increases. Rental rates are subject to annual review and increases, if any, are modest.
Do you have other self storage locations?
Yes! Please visit our self storage facility, Valley Village Self Storage, in Carmel Valley. Convenient for Cachaqua and Carmel Valley residents located right in the heart of the Carmel Valley Village at 15 Delfino Place.
Do you have mold or mildew problems?
Not as a rule. If goods that are stored are dry and properly packed (see our Helpful Hints page) we have experienced almost no mold or mildew problems. Our building is well built wood/frame construction, not a pre– metal structure which is more subject to leaks.
Do you have drive up units?
Yes we do have drive up storage units, however these units are mostly large 10′ by 24′ sized storage units and are usually fully rented. All smaller self storage units are accessible by driving up to our loading area. We provide convenient 4–wheel dollies to move your things from your auto or truck to our elevator for easy access to your unit. Do you offer any military discounts?
Yes we do offer special discounts to active duty military personnel and their familes.
Do you offer move–in trucks?

How do I estimate the size Penske truck I need?
Assume 150 cubic feet of truck space for each fully furnished room. For example a two room apartment (excluding kitchen and baths) will require a minimum of 300 cubic feet of truck space or a 12′ truck. Additional assistance can be found by using Penske’s truck wizard here.
